Killington is located in Central Vermont at the junction of U.S. Route 4 and VT Route 100 in Killington, 16 miles east of Rutland, Vermont and about 15 miles west of Woodstock, Vermont.

The Summit Lodge is located 1 and 1/2 miles on the Killington Mountain Road, in the heart of Killington.

Driving to Killington

From Montreal and points North

Take Highway 10 East to Highway 35 South. Exit at Rt. 133 South and follow to I-89 South. Take exit 3 at Bethel, VT off I-89 to Rt. 107 and Rt. 100 South to Killington. Turn left onto U.S. Rt. 4 then immediately right onto Killington Road. The Summit is 1.5 miles on left.

From New York City via Conn. Turnpike

Take I-95 (Conn. Turnpike) to I-91 North to Hartford, then follow directions from Hartford.

From Hartford, Connecticut

Follow interstate I-91 North to exit 6 (Bellows Falls Rockingham) take Rt. 103 West to Rt. 100 North to U.S. Rt. 4 West and follow to Killington, left on Killington Road, The Summit is 1.5 miles on your left.

From New York City and New Jersey via N.Y. Thruway

Take the New York Thruway (I-87) to Albany. Take Northway (I-87) north to Exit 20 (Fort Anne / Rutland, VT). Pick up N.Y. Rt. 149 and follow east to U.S. Rt. 4. Turn left onto U.S. Rt. 4 and continue into Vermont, through Rutland to Killington. Take right onto Killington Road. The Summit is 1.5 miles on left.

From Philadelphia, Washington D.C. area.

Take feeder highways to N.J. Turnpike. Exit onto Garden State Parkway and follow to N.Y. Thruway. Then follow directions from New York City via N.Y. Thruway.

From Buffalo, Rochester, N.Y. area.

Take feeder highways to N.Y. Thruway (I-90). Exit at Albany onto Northway (I-87) then follow directions from New York City via N.Y.Thruway.

From Boston area.

Take I-93 North to just south of Concord, New Hampshire. Exit onto I-89 North and follow to U.S. Rt. 4 (Rutland) exit 1 in Vermont. Follow U.S. Rt. 4 West to Killington, left on Killington Road, Summit is 1.5 miles on your left.

Airline service

The Summit shuttle can pick you up at the nearby Rutland Airport or Bus Terminal. Cape Air offers service from Rutland State Airport to Boston.

Train service is provided by Amtrak. We can arrange to pick you up at the Amtrak train station in Rutland.
